We all know the pain of creating a website or looking for a trustworthy designer. It seems to be a scarcity and some platforms just don’t give us the customizable options we’re longing for. As a child, we dream of the things we want to grow up to be; sometimes it actually happens and sometimes there is something better in store for us. There are the occasional times that we end up doing what we want, but in a different manner. NOYADESIGNS birthed from the transformation of a canvas artist to a web designer. By way of her father who needed Christina Gwira’s services during his personal time of need. Christina expected the challenge of web designing in the 11th grade. She’s six years in the game and not looking back — No wonder Christina Gwira is now deemed the Queen of the Web.
Lauren Jackson is giving back to her community in a priceless way by being a mentor. Mentorships are vital in the continuation of growth. IMANEE takes mentoring to a new level with a special focus on women empowerment. Say what?! With her model, more than one person can be great at a time! Yes sis! Let’s be great together. We think it’s safe to say Lauren is Queen of Community Excellence.
It’s crazy that many products we use contain harsh chemicals that are NOT as beneficial as their gimmick implies. Shocker right?! No, not really. Many people don’t look at labels; it’s like shape, color, price and a catchy phrase are enough to make a decision on a product. Thankfully, we have people like Tiffany McCullough that decided to cut through the crap with her business JUNGLE and provide beauty/home care products that are what they say they are...ALL NATURAL. Tiffany’s passion to provide quality products stemmed from her mother’s illness that was associated with a product she was using; good enough to give to the family, good enough for me.
There is nothing worse than finding an outfit or store you like that doesn’t have your size nor will it ever. Trendy and cute shouldn’t stop at certain sizes; that creates the idea of adopting unhealthy habits just to fit in…..LITERALLY... just to fit in the clothes! Nicole Clark said no more! Wole’ Designs is “for the curvy, voluptuous and modern woman” so no more having to make do with what is available. Nicole went from designing for herself due to not having options to designing for the public so that no other woman has to feel there aren’t options. We all know how important options are in this vein and we are glad Nicole is challenging the industry to make every women feel beautiful. Meet the Queen of Plus-Sized Design!
