What is Lyra Hoop?
Lyra Hoop, or aerial hoop, is a circular steel apparatus used for aerial acrobatics. Suspended from the ceiling or a rigging point, it allows performers to execute a variety of maneuvers. Commercial lyras are designed to hold 250 pounds.
Note: The HoneyBeLite classes are first-time and beginner friendly. Our classes are aimed to supplement, not intimate.
Many think you need a lot of upper body strength to maneuver. That’s my job to help you into and out of the shapes. To minimize stress on your legs, I also opted to have the lyras close to the ground and went with hollow/thicker lyras for easier navigation.
