What inspired you to start your business? What motivates you to keep going?: I was inspired to start Black Wholeness Collective due to my life falling apart. After reaching the top of my own success I realized I’d gotten there standing on fear, trauma, and my fragile mental health.

I’m continuously motivated by my journey to #KeepGoing, no matter how dark or dismal things appear. I’ve seen my share of bad days and know that I remain the strongest person I know.

Black Wholeness Collective reflects the same tenacious attitude and spirit for other African Descendants to seek healing for themselves; Mind, Body and Spirit.

How do you create the life you want?: My envision of what I want my life to be changes with the wind; I’m learning how to take my life one day and step at a time. I get to choose daily who and what I want to be; by doing things that make me happy without having to think too hard or too far into the future.

Short answer: sis, idk often and I’m becoming more ok with that answer, daily.

What makes you HUMAN?: Allowing myself the grace and mercy to make mistakes, heal, and be a full range of emotions while doing it.

I am human. I don’t have to prove that by any other means.

What's three things you want us to know about self-love/wellness?: 1. My self-love is mine; the world didn’t give it to me and it can’t take it away.

2. No one has any of your answers; only their own lessons.

3. Life is not a group project; you’ll have to live it and do your own work.

Extra: self-care goes beyond external things; it’s more about what you can replenish and internally do you fill in your own gaps.. think of it as your own way of internally hugging you.

What's something we can incorporate today to LIVE LIFE WELL?:: Place a focus on healing; If you’ve suffered from childhood, adolescent and or adult trauma know those foundations won’t rebuild themselves...beloved..
