Kelp Algae

Kelp is one of the highest known natural sources of minerals — twice as many of plants from the soil and its said that those who eat kelp don’t have vitamin deficiencies

Kelp in particular is a good source of potassium, calcium, iodine, magnesium, and selenium. Kelp is great source of natural iodine for thyroid support. Side note — Lack of iodine leads to hypothyroidism — kelp can raise energy levels and boost brain function, help regulate blood sugar if you suffer from diabetes. There’s ongoing research about kelp and weigh management

But you can eat natural kelp in many different forms, including:

  • raw in salads

  • cooked in soups,

  • powdered

  • supplements

Don’t over do it, too much of anything has effects and look for Organic.
