Where are you, mom?
Searching for you,
God did give me a substitute mom and she’s great.
However, I want to know where and who I came from.
I want to see how much of you are in me.
How our souls are intertwined.
I want to see if we have the same features.
Is our laughter the same?
Does my voice resemble yours?
On Mother’s Day, I think heavily on you.
I wish that I could find you and tell you that I love you and I forgive you.
Where are you, Mom? It’s Mother’s Day and regardless of what happened in the past, you’re the reason I’m here.
“Near or far, love is love.”
