Looking at myself and feeling like I should rename myself.
I don’t even look the same, I don’t feel the same
My skin decided to have a meeting and go against me.
I didn’t vote for any of this.
Conversations are few with my mirror these days,
Skin products are plenty these days,
Recommendations are many.
Trial and error is all I can do,
What may help me could possibly be very different from you.
Adult Acne is what the dermatologist said,
Trip after trip she’s shaking her head.
Too strong, too weak, no results,
Another season, another lesson,
I’m still the same beautiful woman underneath these layers of chaos.
Acne you captured me on the outside, I’m sorry, I can’t let you get away with the inside.
