Turning right, you told me to make a left.
You spoke to me, but I acted like I didn’t hear.
You told me to help, but I decided to be selfish.
You told me to leave; I decided I’d stay a little longer.
You told me to be quiet, I kept talking.
I was running and you specifically told me on this assignment, it required walking.
You told me to stop looking, but I kept stalking.
You told me to let you handle it; I took matters into my own hands.
My will isn’t a part of the plan and now I understand.
“Your will is for my good.”
