I want to just me for a minute, no titles, no names, I just want to step out of this body called fame.
Can I remind you for just one minute that I’m human just like you?
Can we all just be humans for just a few minutes?
I want to take my time with this because humans sometimes just rush, rush, rush.
Slowing down for a minute because I get tired just like you.
I cry real tears just like you.
You would feel a certain way if the media just put out rumors and lies or whatever they choose to criticize you.
One minute they love you, next minute they hate you, they bury you with your heart still beating.
They dog your family out in their time of grieving.
If I didn’t have God, I don’t know who I could put my trust in.
I have been betrayed just like you.
I must admit that on some days I don’t feel like being bothered just like you.
I can’t walk down the street without these cameras flashing and reporters in my face.
How would you feel if people just overly harassed you?
I know what you’re thinking; it’s the price of fame.
Let me be clear, I love all my fans, I really do.
However, let’s not forget that I’m human too.
I close my eyes and I go to sleep.
There are things in my life that cause me to weep.
I deal with family issues.
People don’t like all of the decisions that I make.
Heck, I done made a lot of mistakes.
I’m human just like you.
Let’s be mindful of how we treat one another; we are all humans, famous or not.
