The holidays are a time of deep stuffing. We stuff our turkeys, we stuff our bellies, we stuff our bags…and we stuff our hair--or at least we should. Keeping our hair stuffed with the good stuff helps it to be its best. What is the good stuff, you ask? The good stuff is:
1. Quality conditioners and moisturizers: Nourishment will always be necessary for healthy hair. Stuff your strands with conditioners and moisturizers that soften and strengthen. Look for enriching ingredients like jojoba, almond, and grapeseed oils, kokum, cocoa, and mango butters, and panthenol.
2. Healthy food: Holidays and food just seem to go together. Healthy holiday food aids in enriched and bountiful tresses. Incorporate vegetables (carrots, kale, spinach, cabbage, etc.), fruits (apples, berries, grapes, pears, etc.), and water into your holiday diet for flourishing hair.
3. Hair accessories: You wanna look cute, right? Of course you do! Make your hair fabulous with chic (and hair-friendly) clips and accessories. Don’t be afraid to play with color too. Grab some reds, greens, and golds for a bold and vibrant look. Stick with black, browns, and dark blues for an understated yet classy visual. Accent your hairstyle with accessories to look your holiday best.
