Good Hair, Bad Hair

By: Alea J., Curl News Correspondent

The best part of meeting and speaking to natural hair professionals are the opinions they have about good and bad hair. Natural hair has been a discovery and a tool of unification among women. A blessing; if you will. And although we are building one of the largest sister circles ever from Islands, to Countries and back the fact still remains that the discussion of “Good and Bad” hair is still very prevalent among our conversations, and our everyday lives. Towards other naturals and most often towards ourselves.

Naturalicious takes interest in women living and feeling like our best most delicious selves. Join them in a sister circle of their own to discuss ways to boost confidence and taking control of your life. This event will teach you about empowerment and ways to accept your natural beauty. A popular conversation on natural hair has been: Is natural hair a movement or a fad? I say natural hair is revolutionary. Out of our being comes a resource. A way to feel confident and beautiful, a way to spread love, and make business plans, to build an empire or become the Jay- Z of hair game. Crown!

The discussion will take place on Saturday June 14th, 2014 from 6-8 p.m. at Whole Foods Detroit 115 Mack Avenue, Detroit, MI48201. The cost is totally free! But you must register athttp://GOODHAIRDETROIT.EVENTBRITE.COM. Check out the hosts of the event and an amazing brand on Instagram @naturalicious1 for more details.
