MTV Awards: Something Blue

The MTV awards is knows as Hollywood's most fun and expressive display in awards shows annually!  Much like other awards shows in a calender year, filled with talented actors and musicians,  the MTV awards illuminated the night with star studded performances and one of the most extravagant events in the Nokia Theater to date.

Lupita Nyong'o was in attendance for her nomination for Best Female Performance! This fashion maven has graced the red carpet of nearly every legendary awards show and has pulled out all of the stop at each tour to the red carpet. Nyong'o has taught a multitude of cultures bout the contrast and abstract, even artistic nature of dark skin. Not to be hidden, Nyong'o has effortlessly showcased a plethora of styles and colors on the red carpet. Her repertoire has been seen on magazines and websites galore. A classic approach to timeless style continue to be Nyong'o s approach and last night's awards show would be one of Lupita's most loved looks yet!

Lupita rocked the red carpet  in a  Chanel dress, and definitely took the win, long before the show began. This is a brand new look from Lupita and HoneybeNatural Magazine is loving it! The 31 year old Oscar winner has changed up the game! She got rid of the frills and went with fun!

Lupita is on a role! And we've observed first hand what Lupita will do when given the opportunity.  Sometimes one role is all it takes! Aside from talent, immense recognition from all sides of Hollywood,  and becoming the face of the French makeup company; Lancome's- Lupita is a good spirit. She's a motivator to our young achievers.

What's next for Lupita Nyong'o?  Who could guess? However in any instance she will definitely make a statement and HBN will be there to catch the many ways of Lupita Nyong'o!
